Don't forget about Dallas Turner

Viking's brass is giddy over this kid. Big time playmaker and cornerstone defensive player.

QB, WR and Edge...Dont get much more important than that in this era of NFL. Might as well throw CB in that too huh?

KAM took a huge swing on Turner. Too much promise to pass-up at that point in the draft. I did not see that coming at that moment.

I'm in the giddy line too.

If he's the real deal, he'll make everyone around him better.

I was thinking it was silly to expect Turner to be an upgrade over Hunter, but he just might be. Probably not against the run, but Flores is going to be able to line him up all over the field. Micah Parsons was 1st team All-Pro as a rookie mostly because the Cowboys put him everywhere. Turner has that same kind of versatility.

I'm really liking the group Flores is putting together. Fast and tenacious - Where's the pass rush coming from?

I remember the first time I saw Turner play as a freshman, I was watching Bama to see Will Anderson play and I was like, "who is #15!?" He just has that star quality about him that jumps off the tape. Been productive in the toughest conference in college football and has the athletic traits to back it up. I think his bend as a pass rusher is elite. He might not have the repertoire of moves Latu does right now, but Turner is also two years younger and has the higher ceiling. I think we absolutely maximized our draft picks this year and went with quality over quantity which was needed. We needed to add elite level, game changing players, and Turner fits the bill. I'm very excited to see him play in purple.

I envied Dallas having a piece like Micah Parsons. I watched that guy single-handidly wreck some games.

Nobody saw it coming. I would imagine teams picking from 18 to 22 didn't see it coming and I'm sure a few were knocked off guard when it happened. Imagine having your whole draft smashed to pieces in a blink of an eye because the Vikings traded up and stole your player without anyone having knowledge that it was even a possibility.
