Bears Fan Needs a Kidney

My niece ran into this guy at the Bears game on Sunday. He needs a kidney transplant. He is a husband and father of 4. His wife got him tickets to the game as a surprise and my niece happened to sit very near him. So, she shared his story on Facebook and it has kind of taken off. The local NBC station picked it up and reported it.

About 2 years ago, while her and her husband were at work, their house caught on fire and a stranger passing by saw smoke and went and knocked on their door. Her two kids were inside sleeping and had that guy not stopped, they may not be with us today. The house was a total loss and had to be rebuilt.
A lot of people helped her out while they were sorting through the insurance process and all that, so she has made the “Pay it Forward” mantra part of her life. she has helped dozens of people out since her own house burned down.

I know he’s a Bears fan, but we shouldn’t hold that against him. lol
