Dave Gettleman - G - GiantsGiants hired ex-Panthers GM Dave Gettleman as general manager.

With the Giants from 1998-2012, Gettleman is returning home after his stunning firing from the Panthers five months ago. Gettleman developed a reputation as an excellent talent evaluator in New York before quickly turning a top-heavy Panthers roster into a Super Bowl contender. His firing in Carolina was seemingly over his reluctance to extend aging players. He will have many decisions to make in that department in New York, first and foremost the Giants future of Eli Manning. Gettleman, of course, also needs to find a new head coach, something he was not tasked with in Carolina.
