Even a win today doesnt move me to contender status unless Murray shows me much more, and if he doesn't show improvement, and they lose as a result of poor QB play, and KOC doesnt move to Wentz, then KOC should be fired.
Why isn't Chuck Foreman in the Hall of Fame?

I don’t agree with the fired part but if we lose and Murray stinks or “is still picking up the offense” then …. WHY THE HELL DID WE TRADE JJM? 😡

The fact that he signed off on that trade, and refuses to move off Murray, has to put it on the table.

When he skipped the last preseason game I suspect he and his agent had asked out. They subsequently tried but we're unable to trade him at the end of August, per several beat writers. When the Giants situation came along they were able to accommodate him. That's my take, no big conspiracy or hand wringing angst required.

McCarthy said he was shocked by the trade, so not sure this opinion is accurate. I just don't buy this fan narrative that JJ became a malcontent. Its not his style.
"Speaking to the media shortly after the move, McCarthy stated, "When I got the call here, it was a shock. I didn't anticipate it, but at the end of the day, it's an opportunity."

Yeah well people, especially public figures with an image to protect, do tell lies.

....or fans just like to connect the dots with no information. Both true! 😜
I think this is more true in the national scene. You take down some big dogs in the league and you're king of the hill until you lose it.
Locally, I think we're just locked onto, this team is a fraud until the offense can look some semblance of normal
I have no Pollyanna visions of we're going to the SB yet, too much football let to play... I'm also not discounting it at Game 7.
Ive never been so dismissive/disappointed in so many Vikings fans as 2026.
Maybe its just social media amplifying everything x 10?
I hope some allow themselves to smell a rose now and then. None of us is guaranteed tomorrow.
Hurry-up Vikings, we ain't getting any younger!

He skipped a preseason game for no apparent reason. Beat writers said they tried trade him at the end of August. Then when he was traded a few weeks later it was a surprise he never expected. Ok.
I'll get you a Giants jersey for Xmas, my tenderfoot child. 😘

It's the most negative unhappy fanbase for a 6-0 team ever, I think. I'm fine with criticizing the team, I do it plenty. We have issues and flaws but guess what, so does every other team including the good ones.
But the Vikings fans all-in on mindless, endless hating the Vikings at all costs is just... find a hobby or go to the park or something. This is entertainment not life and death.
The message board I tended to frequent most often became so toxic I mostly stopped going there. At least this place remains somewhat sensible thankfully.
Now let's go beat Detroit today!
I don't get if we lose all the gloom and doom .the game is on the road against a good divisional Oppent .I think it will be close turnovers will tell the tale. If we we would lose 52 to 3 though my head would explode
It’s seems that some of you haven’t been around for the past 50 years or have forgotten them. People are unhappy with the stagnant offense. Period. This is because they know there’s near zero chance at playoff success with a team that has an offense performing this poorly. People are pissed JJ was traded because it is an extra special level of asinine to trade a guy like that away when you have an offense struggling like this or even players with the injury histories we have. Now he’s having success elsewhere (in a completely new system with new teammates and just a few weeks later) and some of you think no one should have a problems with the decision making. Your take is irrational. It’s Pollyanna to the 10th degree. If Kyler is lighting it up and there’s a problem it’s one thing, but so far he is much worse than the young guy traded away and his own backup.
God willing, Kyler gets it together today. I still have faith, but I’m also realistic. This many starts should see them already rolling at least at an average level. I see today as the game he had better improve greatly. I don’t inject if it’s confidence, slow to learn the offense, or what, but it’s time.
It sure would be nice to see an explosive play on offense.
Don't care what anyone says, the looks on Jefferson's face today and just now says it absolutely all. There is a major disconnect on offense. Here is a clue, it isn't Jefferson.
