Official Yes or No thread
You in or out? Looks like the rumor is that Indy IS in reset mode....
After trading away his lead blocker, the Colts are officially open for business on trades involving superstar running back Jonathan Taylor.

Indianapolis has seen enough with this core and is pressing the full reset button.
Taylor will likely be on the move within the next week. pic.twitter.com/GP6iGnEgts
Come on @StickierBuns, this was the perfect scenario for one of your famous “Breaking News” threads…! Retirement has definitely softened you, the “Old Sticky” would have pounced, Lol.
Yes, would love an elite RB who can stack big plays in a game.
No, he was abused by our pass rush in the last game, gotta have RB that can block.
No, not sure our OL is good enough to create holes for an elite RB, may not move the rush needle very far relative to AJ and Mason.
No, how are Vikes going to pay our starting QB next year and give deserving pay raises to key players on our defense with a new, expensive RB?
Bottom line, No

Add a bell cow to this offense? Sign me up...yes!
But what is the cost?
I cant post my pov any better than this...
Hurry-up Vikings, we ain't getting any younger!
Well.....this might hamper things:
Schefter: Colts ownership doesn't want to trade Jonathan Taylor.

Doesn't want to or won't? Seems like public posturing to get the most value in a trade.

This pretty much sums up how I feel, too. I do not see it fitting under the salary cap, but if Teasley does it, I will have a lot of fun watching it on gamedays.
Its Indy's most tradable commodity for sure. Will the Colts be fine with Minnesota's 32nd pick in round 1?

I'm glad you're not our GM. No way Taylor warrants a first round pick. lol

You'd love it.
No from me. Guys got a ton of wear and tear and we would still stick him behind a line that cant block.
.we've also already seen how bad of a pass protector he is and he will cost a ton. I think Mason is fine, id go after Tony Pollard first and look to trade for an upgrade at center or guard.

I think thats a very rationale take...
For me, it just depends on the comp Indy would want.
I dont think he's available w/out over paying though...
We do need a field tilter in the backfield.
And how teams would play Taylor with the other weapons on offense here would look a lot different then at Indy.

Don't get the Pollard love. He was subpar before having a really nice game against Cleveland this last Sunday. For depth? Ok.

Yes im saying for depth bc I dont think Jones makes it thru the season. Pollard is a good back on a shitty team with an expiring contract.
If we could get him for a 5 or 6, you do it. They'll want to0 much for JT, if hes even available and his contract is high with the FA we need to bring back, plus finding a QB.
Hes top 10 in YPC on the season and 29.
If we can get him for a third or less, multiple third and additional lower draft selections, okay. Not a first or a second. That contract of Taylor's is also very high.
