Lions are 3 point favorites vs Minnesota next game

Our Minnesota Vikings opened up as 3 point underdogs in their upcoming game versus Detroit. The Lions are fresh off of a 20-17 victory over the Packers. I feel like we are getting no respect around the league. A win in Detroit will get us a little more respect going into the Buffalo game . 6-0 feels awesome ! I just hope our offense can improve a little bit and be less predictable come Sunday . Skol Vikes !!!

That line will move to at least 4.5 with the vast majority of public money going on the Lions. Deservedly so.

I wouldn’t be surprised to see Lions -6.5 by the time Kickoff happens

Deservedly so ? You seem to have no faith in our squad at all . We are 6-0 . We clobbered Green Bay and went to Chicago and beat them down. I think we’re going to win deservedly!

Indeed. It is hilarious IMO. Saw a headline on NFL .com, Are the Giants and Vikings legit?

We have beaten the media darling Packers and Bears. 2-0 in the division.

Come on man…GB beat our ass for 3.5 quarters and we caught Chicago in a monsoon. I mean, I’ll take the wins…but let’s keep it a buck.

With the way the offense is playing and the fact they’ve played the football equivalent of the Washington Generals the last 4 games…the Vikings shouldn’t be favored vs REAL competition until they actually beat someone.

If they somehow go out and house the Lions and Buffalo, they’ll get respect.

Oh really? You wanna bet on that? It won't go past -4.5 unless the Vikings announce Murray is not playing. It could well close 3 or 3.5.

Public is going to HAMMER the Lions. line probably won’t hit 6.5, but it also wouldn’t surprise me.

Kyler's played 4 complete games and has been dogshit twice, the D just gave up 150 rushing yards to the Colts, and we're going on the road to face Jamyr Gibbs and one of the best balanced offenses in the league. I'd favor Detroit too. Our D will slow their O down some, but I'm wondering how this crapfest offense is going to score enough.

We have them right where we want them. I don’t care too much about pointspread or odds or rankings. We’ve been there before the only thing I care about is seeing this offense realize it’s potential if it has any this chemistry is way off.

3.5 quarters? They point up 3 points in the second half. Check your math.

JFC, this fanbase is really a fucking trip.

We beat Detroit with Max Brosmer when they needed a win to make the playoffs.

It doesn't surprise me. I was expecting them favored, if for no other reason than it's on their turf. That aside, I don't care about the odds. Never have.

Yep, and the way B-Flo is running his defense is attacking the RB in pass protection. We did this to Gibbs last year where they literally had to take him off the field on passing downs because he couldn't pass block. We beat them twice with Goff, Gibbs, Amon-Ra, etc. And our QBs were a green JJ McCarthy and Max Brosmer. Fans can fan, but let's keep it in perspective. Offense needs to be better, but Detroit isn't a juggernaut. We can beat them.

This ^

Vikings are an excellent team, 6-0, all I'm asking is for better QB1 play....and I have to hope its coming, but I also have to call it like I see it as we stand right now. But scared of Detroit?? 😂 😆

Whether it's good or bad, I expect the Vikings to play up (or down) to their opponents. Maybe what we really need right now is a good opponent. A team that forces us to open things up a little.

McCarthy also had his best game in purple (to my eyes) in Detroit last year.

It's going to be a tough game but I think it'll be competitive and hopefully end with a Vikings W. The go-for-broke Lions style won't work against our defense if we can keep their 25+ yard plays to a minimum.

Here's the bottom line with Murray: he's only highly successful when he adds off script and scrambles to the gameplan. That's his x-factor. It does put him in harm's way but this standing in the pocket, hopping around waiting to throw and then throwing either short or incomplete has to stop. He's not a pocket passer....but I think he thinks he is. Or desperately wants to show he is because whenever he asked about his big runs, he always seems disgruntled a bit to talk about them positively. Like once he referenced the 'old me' or 'me from yesteryear', something like that. Its like dude, lol....that has to be you now as well.
