Stroud has looked better so far. 0 picks for the season.

Tuten. JFC. Not to be a broken fucking record but god damn it you passed on this for a fucking punt gunner WR5?

RB at 102 just made so much sense. Tuten was there, Skattebo was there, Woody Marks, Croskey-Merritt. We likely wouldn't be sniffing the trade winds right now if we'd simply taken a RB in that draft where we took Felton.

Still pissed off we didn't take one in 2025. It was the year to do so. Did a lot of work on that RB class. Still don't understand how we did not come away with one.

Maddening.

Tuten being 4th in the NFL in yards after contact just kills me as I didn’t see that when looking at him predraft.

Honestly, after the playoffs last year I didn’t think he’d recover from truly horrific QB play. Maybe they need to play through the lows and eventually they will even out?

Tuten's INSIDE move (twice) on that TD run (Instead of stepping out of bounds) was classic !

Because our illustrious GM and OConnell traded for Jordan Mason a month before the draft essentially eliminating us from taking advantage of the deepest and most talented RB draft crops in years. Reading the strengths of a draft was never Mensah's strong suit. Whoever would have thought...

Texans 34

Jaguars 31

Don't worry Jaguars fans, you'll still be ahead of us in the power rankings.

Welcome back. It’s been the same 3 people and a MOD talking to each other. Mason wasn’t the answer. Did a lot of work on that class at RB. Mind blowing we didn’t take one. So upset.

It was a loaded running back group through about round 4. We had a clear need at the position up until we made the trade for Mason, which should have never happened. I wanted Treyveon Henderson badly, and once the trade happened, I knew we weren't taking a running back at all and that's exactly how it played out.

Last two yrs,

Mason

18 gp, 174 c for 817 y, 7 TD

Henderson

22 gp, 229 c for 1105 y, 10 TD

Within next two games, a healthy Mason should even up those stats with Henderson, battling a high ankle sprain.

I’m no special pleader for Mason/Kwesi but this Kwesi decision not the platform to hang him on.

He did plenty to hang himself and not reading the strengths of a draft was certainly on that list.

We got OG Donovan Jackson in that draft.

Felton in the 3rd

(And remember, WR coach pounded the table for Felton) https://vikingsterritory.com/2025/news/top_news/keenan-mccardell-vikings-rookie)

We missed on Tuten, Skattebo and Marks with that Felton pick, but we had Mason, in house.

IMO, I don’t see the travesty.

Why are some fan bitching about RBs?? The Vikings are 12th in rushing yardage and that's with most teams playing 6 games compared to 5. I don't get the angst. Look around the league and see the injuries for RBs, its everywhere. Mason is coming back, AJ has been stellar....where is the team missing drafting a RB higher? Of course in hindsight, a pick here or there might have made some sense.....but in hindsight.

Bolster away if need be, but it better be for lower comp before the trading deadline.

Not only that, but they appear upset that the Vikings were able to get an equivalent RB in a trade for effectively a 6th rounder in the 2025 draft. The only running back out of those talked about I take over Mason is Tuten. Thats it. Yes Felton hasn't worked out yet, if you want to be upset over that fine, but getting Mason for the value we gave up is at the epicenter of how the Vikings have become a good team. They have looked for solid players that they can add to the team at a modest value. That was an excellent trade. If the Vikings make a run it will likely be because Mason goes off in the 2nd half and playoffs.

Don’t get the angst?

The bulky knee brace on Jones causes me some angst.

Mason missing time causes me angst.

Our O now being predicated on running with pretty flimsy RBs causes me angst.

I got angst enough for the both of us
