What If?
Stewart fell to us. To me, from a talent perspective, would represent a Moss like slide. He’s a top 5 guy but a head case. I think BFlo would get his head right.
I’m also consistently seeing iDL available, which would be a ridiculous add after all the draft capital we spent last year. But, imagine wave after wave of top end iDL with BFlo calling the shots.
Teams would surrender

I think we should stop thinking about B Flo working his magic on future players. I think hes too good to get passed up again as a HC and I think someone will bite the bullet this off-season.
I think iDL is something you keep drafting for because you don't always hit. Stewart would have to slide a LONG way to get to Minnesota in next year's Draft....but yeah, what a talent. The thing with BFlo's D is you need guys with a little brain power as well. The D is meant to be fluid and ever changing like water. If the D continues and is GOING to continue to be the star of the team, load it up with talent. And there'll almost always be vets like Van Noy and Adams available to supplement.
I think Minnesota is going to go strong again this Spring for Edge/iDL and OL. Lots of talent to start paying.

It would be great to add another high end talent at DL/Edge. Those guys can dominate a game and win a SB if they are good enough/deep enough - see Seattle.
Defense and running the ball still win in post-season.
My hope is BFlo stays a while...Its taken time to fill that side of the roster with the appropriate talent fit and I'd hate to start that from scratch with another scheme.
Especially with an offense that is middle of the pack most weeks.
Hurry-up Vikings, we ain't getting any younger!
There is a school of thought that says you fill holes with free agency and you draft to your strength, building a formidable unit. We're just so far away from knowing where these guys will be going and where we'll be drafting. But I would not be opposed to taking an edge. AVG is 31.

LB too - Cashman isnt getting younger either and his contribution is still amazing imo. LB's can take a while to marinate too, especially with this scheme.
