Vikes sign OBJ to PS
That's all
I am curious, are the condemnations on the WR being based on actual viewing of the all 22 or other wide angle shots that clearly show they arent getting open, or is this more based on the lack of production? I have seen several shots the last few weeks of guys being open and KM just not pulling the trigger so I dont know that its so much about them being crappy receivers, or that brining in other cast offs is going to improve the situation.

I think it's just a cheap depth addition. I don't think the fact that Jennings, Felton and Price have been largely invisible is an indictment on their ability to contribute as much as it is a reflection of where the offense is right now. I think once the offense starts getting in sync (assuming it does), we'll see those players contributing more.
Felton has made a few plays, so I am comfortable with him. Jennings has not been what we had hoped for, but will give him a chance with the rest of the offense as it grows and improves.
Well KOC trying to use Jennings as a downfield target is just... dumb. Not sure OBJ could do much better at this point in his career.
The offense isn't struggling because of personnel, except at RB where I fear Aaron Jones will be dead in a few weeks at this rate. Losing the left side of the oline isn't good either. But mostly the struggles have been Kevin "I'm adapting to Kyler" O'Connell not actually doing any such thing and playing YOLO ball all day long. It's embarrasing to have a 3rd and one with a bunch of options for KM to move the chains with a short pass, and KOC calls a 7 step drop for KM to stand there hunting down the field and we are 3 and out.
We got a glimpse in the second half last Sunday though of what actually works. KM in the short/intermediate game, being accurate, protecting the ball, moving the chains. Increasing t.o.p. and keeping the D fresh so when it come on the field it annihilates the opps. Kevin O'Genius will have to figure it out or lose his job, methinks. You can't waste another year of Jefferson and this generational defense and have even these dumbfuck owners be like, "We love you, serve up more of the same!" At least I hope not, Nolan Teasley.
Not adapting is patently false. Snaps and runs from shotgun are highest in KO’s tenure. He’s rapidly adapting (for him).

Why? Oh..the irony of OBJ getting cut to make room on the roster for JJM.
Are we just fishing with dynamite here? Just throw it in the water and see what floats to the surface. We'll have signed and released every available RB in the league at some point. Now..we're moving on to WRs. Jennings has been virtually non-existent and Felton so maybe they're thinking Red Zone guy? Our depth WR is hardly a juggernaut...Jennings, Felton, Price,..so maybe giving OBJ a tryout. I think OConnell and OBJ overlapped a year on the Rams.
We brought in Neal and Estime and based on last week kept Estime who was the better of the 2 running backs. Estime is insurance which based on last week injuries is good to have. Estime could come in and play if need be. Claiborne had 1 decent run last week. Will we continue to see incremental improvement with him. The line is going to be weaker on the left side. As to OBJ we are kicking the tires and he could be out there this week if we keep Jefferson out 1 more week.

I agree KO definitely molded the offense around Kyler this past week. It helped.
It's just weird to me that after NINE DIFFERENT STARTING QUARTERBACKS or whatever the number is up to now, it seems like all nine of em were expected to run Kevin's Dream Offense from the get go, fell flat, and then got the simplified version a few games later. Why does it always feel like KO is teaching these guys Calculus before teaching them addition? Maybe that's not actually representative of what's happening in the QB room, but it definitely feels that way as a viewer.

I had to laugh at this. Vikings trolling JJM to the fullest. It has to be lol. Man, we better hope he doesn't pan out. Either way, this was funny shit.

For what its worth, Murray had the fewest off-target throws in the NFL on Sunday. He had 10 incompletions that included three drops and 6 throwaways, so one off-target throw. Personally, I'm encouraged by the throwaways. It's a sign of experience; I'm not sure I saw too many from JJM. There's no doubt he has to play better, but theres something to be said for not putting the ball in harm's way when the defense is playing like it is. So there are some good signs.

I will give you the throwaways. Sometimes I feel he can still make the throw, but it is a sign of experience. After he threw that first pass up for grabs for an INT, or one of his first passes, I am sure KOC was in his ear. He had a good 4th quarter. Just not sure that would work against a team like the Bills. That is all.

I think KO lost his sounding board in Udinski. I dunno. I’m just glad he didn’t wait until week 12 to adapt.

This was a great signing
About seven years ago
Not saying at all this is what's going on, but we do have a certain receiver that will be entering the final year of his contract next year that could be an attractive trade piece for a draft pick or in a trade for a RB.....
