Looking ahead...
@ NOLA,
Bye
Colts
@ Lions
Bills
@G Bay
Mex City: 49'ers
Not sure the shape of Kitties or GB by then? Still divisional games - and Parsons should be help the pack by that point.
Only 2 of those are home games, unless u count Mex City as a non road game.
I think thats a pretty daunting schedule.
Hurry-up Vikings, we ain't getting any younger!
Its hard to predict games honestly....teams get incrementally better, healthier/less healthy, play backup QBs, backup O linemen, etc. Bad weather. IMO the key takeaway from this as a Viking's fan is the team is 4-0 without much help from the offense. If that doesn't improve, then we know that the O will only be so good and it will become more problematic against better teams like Buffalo, San Fran, etc. But if they can improve on that side of the ball, then what an advantage that will be as they stack more Ws on being 4-0. Lots of injuries around the NFL and the team might be without the best part of their O line, the left side, without Darrisaw and Jackson. That's life. Going to need Huber and Van Demark to step up. Mason is coming back. Justin Jefferson too, both needed.
I'm greedy, lets get to 5-0 before the bye. That would be 4 NFC wins out of the first 5 games. Huge. But if Kyler Murray can't 'ascend', then the team will only go so far ultimately anyway. The D will always be tough, but you can't expect them to consistently make game-changing plays each week exactly when required. That bucket will not always be full and its silly to think it would.

Yah - like the Olde Trapper used to say...
Least we're catching Saints on a short week. You know this team kinda reminds me of the old Grant teams from the 70's - but Bud at least had a QB.
Is it my imagination or are the injuries year-to-date across the league bigger and more of em?

Agreed in general. Flores and Will can't be counted on to get us through a slew of tough road games and/or staunch opponents like the Bills and the 49ers. The offense HAS to show up, or the undefeated status will be long forgotten by the end of November.
WOW, KOC really must prefer retread QBs.
