Thoughts on the win (not QB related)

Some tidbits I saw rewatching some highlights.

• Jalen Redmond was a beast again. How many of the big plays were setup by JR blowing up the play. Getting into the backfield so quick, they tried to hold him several times. Dude is one of our best defenders. And that sez something.

• DT was "quiet" in this game. He seemed to be lacking his normal quick release, but I wonder if Flores was using him as a decoy some. His .5 sack actually came when he had dropped into coverage and Mayfield got away from Cashman. He split the sack with Metellus who absolutely blasted Mayfield on that one.

• DT and Gink (INT) were in coverage on Bakers last throw as well. Cash and EWill harassing BM and then Redmond with some great hustle that late in the game as well.

• Love the grit of our D. On the 6th sack (Cash and EWill), Redmond was doubled. So the two LBs destroyed the RB with Cash getting Mayfield wrapped up. But he was still standing and fighting, so Ewill got up from leveling the RB and leveled Mayfield.

• Speaking of RBs getting destroyed, Pace also destroyed one on his way to a sack. Love the intensity our LBs bring when the RB tries to step up. Can't wait to see Gibbs try to block them again.
