Vikings zoom up Power Rankings
USA Today power rankings after Sunday's games. Pretty heady company.
This is why I never get concerned with pre-season power rankings...I'd rather be moving up than moving down. Now to stay here (or move up) is another thing altogether.
4. Minnesota Vikings (8)
The Vikings have given up just 41 points in three games, playing a huge part in the team's 3-0 start. This team could be very dangerous if Kyler Murray gets on the same page as his receivers.

Are the Chiefs back after an abysmal 2025? It sure seems that way. Patrick Mahomes and Kansas City are 3-0, and Travis Kelce appears to have turned back the clock.

Josh Allen and the Bills are tough. They are resilient. They are tough to play at home. They are 3-0 and among the favorites to win the Super Bowl. Can they keep it up?

It was not a pretty victory over the Cardinals, but a win is a win in the NFL, and San Francisco is now 3-0 and atop the NFC West standings. Brock Purdy and company have the NFC's highest-scoring offense.

Hurry-up Vikings, we ain't getting any younger!
To be fair, when you be one of the media darlings (aka Packers) and a new favorite organization (aka Bears), you're going to get some credit, especially when you limit the "high-octane offensive" Bears to 3 points in Chicago.
The defense and special teams is warranting a move up for sure, but this offense needs to get it together quickly.
I do not see how we moved up after that performance, it was not really a win, but which team was going to lose it. We have absolutely no offense and no signs of it getting better with Murray. I think with Wentz we can be a potential wild card team, but if we stick with Murray, I do not think we get in.
4th is absurd. 4th suggests you can make it to the NFC championship game. Our offense hasn't shown anything at all. Like if you need to have your defense and special teams score for you in order to win, that's not sustainable.
And with Mia, NO & Colts coming up and then Det. We could be the darlings of the NFL beating up on crap teams. Just to be out 1st round of the PO's because we faced easy teams and our offense still sucks.
