Wentz is the best QB on the roster

KOC's playbook is mostly run (usually up the gut) for no gain because they know it's coming, and bombs away. No slants, quick hitters, no short passing game to speak of. His #1 receiver goes down with an ankle and they start doubling his #2 and he is still calling almost nothing but long developing downfield stuff.
Murray didn't look great though he did make some plays at times, but KOC isn't working with Kirk or Sam, big-bodied guys who are built to bomb it down the field. KOC talked all summer about adapting to this reality but as with all things KOC, talk is endless and cheap and means nothing. And with Jefferson and Mason out the adapting was nowhere to be seen imo.

No one should be writing Kyler off quite yet but I agree with you and have said it as nauseum.
All the way back to last offseason I was hoping the Vikings would either take a big swing at a clear upgrade at QB, or stick with McCarthy. So far, we’re still getting the same poor QB play but now with no long term plan. Excellent!

JJM should be starting. He’s young. He’s good for 150 yards. Quite honestly, at this point maybe we should be asking if KOCs offense is the problem?

I would agree that Wentz is the best QB we have - but we know his ceiling, he can run the offense, but can he put a team on his back and win a shootout or come from behind on a regular basis? I have my doubts. "Don't LOSE the game" sure, but "LEAD the team to victory" at crunch time? I don't have the confidence of having Tark, Kramer, Culpepper, or Kirko.
JJM is 23, will have growing pains, has moxie, but can't stay healthy. I personally don't agree with trying to "fix" a QB - let him use his skillset that he's developed and had success with, and ADD to that skillset (like touch) don't CHANGE the stuff he's learned his whole life. How does it work out when people get married with the intention of "fixing" something about the other person? Let him sling it.
K1 the jury is still out until he actually shows us something & we've seen nothing. Yes he can extend plays and drives, but I don't want that - I want the ball OUT - My favorite ability is AVAILABILITY.
We are not in the QB room, with the coaches, at the practices, but If I'm going into the playoffs next week - FWIW I'm choosing Wentz.
