I recognized in the faces of some Packer fans Thursday a bit of what we went through last year, when the football gods, via suspensions, injuries and bad QB play, took all our hopes and dreams and flushed them down the shitter.
The football gods rarely pick on the same teams the following season, so maybe it's the Lions, Packers and Bears (oh my) turn to suffer their sardonic torments.

They're on a 7 game win streak if you want to count last year...
After 5+ decades of rooting for these guys, I still get excited most Sundays. That resilience surprises me given how hard they've made it o stay engaged a lot of seasons.
Just hoping they win one time b4 I'm in the dirt and not on it.
