What's your take on the ceiling of this guy?
I dont see Rogers/Favre/Lamar level.
I see a good qb, reared right and a good surround - but not the level they've grown used to the last 50 years?

They posted that stat yesterday showing comparable wins and stats with Rogers to this point. The game has changed though and the Flores model is getting more popular. That makes the less mobile qb’s and the long developing offenses endangered
He hits some big throws early, was really humming but then cooled down significantly. I'm just wondering what he's done for the national media to be hanging off his jock strap? I hear the same thing from the national heads EVERY year....Green Bay and Dallas as top teams in the NFC. But where are the big wins at?
He's not nor will he ever be in that elite tier, which was what Favre and Rodgers were in their prime. Guys who can carry a team, elevate it, keep it relevant year in and year out. At any given time there might be around 5 or 6 of those guys in the league.
He's in the next tier, the QBs who if you put great weapons and defenses around them, could win a championship.
I had to laugh when they put the Favre/Rodgers/Love stats up early and mentioned that Favre and Rodgers both won MVP in their 4th year and speculated that Love could be in line for that.
He is good enough to be a "franchise" QB, but I think without a dominant running game, he is just good enough to keep teasing. Glad he is in GB.

I am not even sure if there are that many at any given time. typically 2 to 3 tops that can/do put the team on their shoulders. its very few that can make average talent around them look all pro. think about the players and coaches that had success in early 2000s NE, the 90s GBay, and few others over the years, that look great until they dont have that true franchise QB carrying the team, but then hit FA and never replicate that level of performance again.
