The offseason version of Hard Knocks is set to return next year.
HBO and NFL Films announced on Wednesday that there will be an offseason edition of the show for the first time since 2024. That edition of the series focused on the Giants and included the team’s discussions about not re-signing running back Saquon Barkley in free agency, but the next season will not focus on one team. It will focus on an entire division as they go through the Scouting Combine, free agency and the draft.
“Our fans are increasingly interested in how NFL rosters are built, as well as the people who build them,” NFL Films senior executive Ross Ketover, said in a statement. “With Hard Knocks moving to the offseason, we are excited to showcase the tireless work that happens across an entire division, from the moment a season ends to the minute training camp begins.”
Per the release, the return of the offseason format will take the place of the in-season series that has aired since 2021 and also focused on entire divisions.
Hard Knocks is currently airing its training camp edition with the Seahawks and the Patriots are set to take part in next summer’s edition of the show.
