Baker didn't like the Bucs offer of extending 2 years at 100 million
If things don't pan out with K1 is Baker a consideration for QB1 in Minny?
Baker has average around 4000 yards each of the last 3 seasons.
Thoughts?
Baker turned down $50mm per huh? Not sure about that decision.
Another starter (not on the roster now) is only a scenario here if K1 AND #9 dont work out...
That would be a really run of bad luck by the Vikings to add to their stellar QB record.
I hope the football gods are kinder than that.
I am not giving up hope (yet) one of our in house guys is going to pan out.

The length of the deal was the sticking point. I think the dollars are in line with what he’s looking for.

Fk me, so if K1 does work out. We're looking at $50M a year for a guy who plays 1/2 a year? Why oh why didn't we keep Sammy?

at his age, I get that, but still 50 mil each for 2 years would be hard to turn down.

Had em both in the bldg too. Coach said the kid wasnt ready, and the GM still let em both walk.
KAM has set this franchise back 4-5 years in my reckoning...
