Vikings WR Jeshaun Jones suspended three games
Wide receiver Jeshaun Jones will find out whether he makes the cut to 53 players in Minnesota later this week, but he won’t be playing in any of the team’s first three games either way.
The NFL announced that Jones has been suspended for three games on Tuesday. The ban comes as a result of a violation of the league’s substance abuse policy.
Jones signed with the Vikings after going undrafted in 2024 and he has spent the last two seasons on the team’s practice squad. He was elevated to play in Week 18 last season and returned two punts for five yards.
Jones will be able to practice this week and play in the preseason finale before his suspension takes effect. The Vikings will set their initial 53-man roster by Sunday afternoon.

According to Hillsborough County court records, Vikings receiver Jeshaun Jones was arrested in April for refusing to submit to a breath test to determine his blood-alcohol level. He pleaded no contest to a lesser charge of reckless driving last month.

Pretty much the kiss of death for a not-quite-slam-dunk NFL player.
Please God, just one Lombardi before I die.
If you want to get by with this behavior, probably should be much more important to the team.
It is the law of the inverse, when the baggage outweighs your contributions, see ya.
