Posting This Against My Will

I’ve posted similar sentiments and everyone on the board was overjoyed to discuss the opportunity. 😂
Only thing that keeps the team away from that is if Kyler Murray plays lights out to the point where they’d like to give him a three or four year contract.Otherwise… I expect Teasley to want to dip his toe in this.
I am simply not ready for this conversation.
No sir.
Can not.
Moore is up to 220 and that’s all I’m saying on the subject.

I hope the offense doesnt play like ass this year...
If K1 doesnt ring the bell and/or JJM doesnt show-out with whatever chances he may get?
I can absolutely see NT going this route. I can see them going this route even if K1 does play well and signs an extension. They'll want a young QB they can take their time grooming. Brosmer isnt that guy.
All bets off if JJM starts to ball-out.
Edit: Apologies to JIT
Hurry-up Vikings, we ain't getting any younger!

I think even if Kyler has a great year and the Vikings sign him long term, they'd still be well advised taking a QB in the draft. Maybe not a 1st rounder, but maybe a day-two guy. I think you should always have a developmental guy and if that's not going to be McCarthy or Brosmer, it's time to get one.

Yeah, should have qualified my post as meaning early in the Draft. It won't be as big a priority. Always need the next developmental guy. But I guess you could also still pull the trigger if you truly want to give someone the Jordan Love treatment.
With a new GM and a good chance that none of the QBs on the roster will standout as a franchise QB this year, I think it is likely that we are potentially drafting a QB next year or signing one. Murray would need a Darnold like resurgence for that not to happen and for us to be willing to invest the future on him.
