Vikings/Ravens Joint Practices ~ Aug. 19th & 20th
Vikings last two Training Camp Practices of 2026 are:
Day #15 - Wed. Aug. 19th
Day #16 - Thurs. Aug. 20th
Both days are joint practices with the Ravens.
Figured we would get a head start with any pre-practice days' info from both teams. Then will continue in same thread for both practice days.
Edit to add times. Same for both days.
Another edit, as I was wondering why they started the actual practice earlier than what was originally posted. Guess they caught their typo also, as the times did change. Or, maybe my old eyes need some new glasses. 😎

Nice to hear that name

I had a similar thought…I don’t know about a formal, on staff coach? But maybe a seasonal advisor???
It seems like a deepening of the Vikings and Randy relationship?
so much depends on how often he’s with his kids these days, and where is he at in his cancer journey?
Physically, spiritually and emotionally.
You’re only as good as your next set of labs and scans with the big c. That can weigh heavily
Hurry-up Vikings, we ain't getting any younger!
Vikings defense dominates, WR Justin Jefferson's timing with Kyler Murray remains under development and more notes from the 2nd day of joint practices with the Ravens and the final day of camp open to the public.https://t.co/tPWU8ZqRBW

It does seem like a deepening relationship between the two. I agree. I like to see that. He is also close with Brady, so maybe he wants to see more of that side of it as well. Just a conversation because he sure seems to be getting closer to the ORG.

Who would’ve thought that there’s more job security as an NFL assistant coach than working for ESPN.

Just thinking about Moss's personality, I would say coaching isn't his only option. Could be something bigger in team or player management. He is smart and wise in his ways.

He has certainly matured later in life. There were points in college (early) and even in the NFL when he acted quite immature. But time, age, and lifetime scares (C) can put a level of maturity into anyone.
Please God, just one Lombardi before I die.

Be a team and player manager. I could see that. Work directly with the team and just put insight in where he needs. I like that.
I don't know that Randy is interested in coaching, but KOC said he wants him around the team more and is making it happen. I think Moss enjoys his ESPN NFL analyst role. He's held in the highest esteem by former/current players as the GOAT at the position.
From the snippets of video all TC, anyone else notice a skip in the step of the offensive linemen? I think they are very down with this new aggressive style of play and coaching this year. Looks like they are having real fun.
#Vikings HC Kevin O’Connell said Kyler Murray couldn’t see over the OL on a play during practice, and admitted it days later after KOC showed them Drew Brees’ HOF speech.
