Details of the Incident
On February 7, in Doral, Florida, Pearce allegedly used his vehicle to intentionally ram a car driven by WNBA player Rickea Jackson to stop her from reaching a police station. Following a call from Jackson, police say Pearce fled the scene, crashed his car, and was subsequently apprehended after a foot pursuit. He was initially charged with several felonies, including aggravated battery with a deadly weapon, and misdemeanor stalking.[1]
Legal Status and Suspension
Pretrial Intervention: In May, Pearce entered a 12-month pretrial intervention program, allowing for the dismissal of charges if he complies with terms, including avoiding contact with Jacks
