Can Tai Felton make letting Addison walk a consideration?

Its just camp, hell its not even preseason games yet.....but all reports say that Felton has been having a very good offseason. Long way to go and most probably Felton won't catch enough balls to know 100% definitively, but I wonder: could he make a decision on Addison easier for the team? Could a trending up Tai Felton be enough to make Jordan Addison a tradable commodity next offseason? Would save the team a huge contract.
Not saying its probable.....just wondering out loud.
