What!! I was told he was a bust by exclusively Vikings fans because he couldn't play over Jefferson, Addison, and Nailor as rookie

Hello everyone
Welcome aboard. Liking one of my posts as your introductory move to the board is notoriously good taste and obviously you're a person of high value. 😆

Im buying his jersey now. He is going to be CJ Ham 2.0 but better. He just has that mean dawg in him and loves contact. Run the ball left behind him, Darrisaw & Jackson and good luck defenders.

Now, I also believe JJ can improve on all of those things over time and K1 has to stop slinging hospital balls.
I believe this is and always will be an issue for KM1 due to his height. He has to arc balls to WR's vs line driving them. Giving defenders more time to adjust and contend for the ball. Being 5'10 behind our tall OL is going to produce many hospital balls this season.

Wonder if the continued slow processing is due to a focus on mechanics? It’s year 3, he’s got to know the offense. Maybe too much reliance on a strong arm?
He rarely threw in college and it wasn't against top tier defenders. Maybe 1 on a team.
It was the big concern coming out of college. Michigan was a run heavy team so all the defenses stacked the line giving him a lot of 1 on 1 looks. Not happening now.
I think JJM is done. He cant layer passes. Doesnt have the touch. Never going to make it in the NFL IMO

I love the idea of running left behind Darrisaw and Jackson, with Bredeson in reset motion left as a wham blocker. Put Josh Oliver and Jauan Jennings over there too and that would be hard to stop. Imagine doing this effectively a few times and then, with the same personnel, faking the handoff and running Murray on a keeper around the right side.
I'm not much of a jersey guy, but I think if I were to buy one it might be Jalen Redmond. Saw one at camp the other day.

Haven't bought one since they got rid of the stitching. They just feel like cheap mass printed China crap.

Just from watching clips, Kyler seems to better understand the NFL rhythm. That comes with experience. In the NFL, it's got to be get the snap...then beat, beat, throw. Get the snap...beat, beat, throw. Or get the snap...beat, beat, scramble and throw. Or get the snap...beat, beat scramble and run. There can be no beat, beat, beat...which I've seen too much from McCarthy. Not sure if that made any sense to anyone (lol), but that's what I see.
Pressing, holding the ball trying to make something happen, hope something will pop open. But that rarely works, as you say, the offense has a rhythm, if he can find that, he has a chance of beating the D.
