Gotta wonder if Penix will ever be able to play an entire season?
His injury history scared the hell out of me that draft.
Hurry-up Vikings, we ain't getting any younger!

We don't play the lions until Nov 1st and Dec 20th so that wont help us but maybe they'll have a couple more losses early in the season due to this.
With eyes on a new contract, as well. https://t.co/BiDePlw80b

Star running backs Bijan Robinson and Jahmyr Gibbs appear to be hold-ins as they seek new contracts.
Neither Robinson nor Gibbs was participating Wednesday with the Atlanta Falcons or Detroit Lions, respectively, in the first training camp practice for both teams. Both players have had conversations with their teams this offseason about potential long-term contracts.
Both players are expected to reset the running back market with their deals. The Philadelphia Eagles' Saquon Barkley is currently the NFL's highest-paid running back, with his contract worth an annual average of $20.6 million.

such a shame. Dunno, my dislike for Detroit has really escalated in the last few years. Dunno if it is their coach, some of their players or maybe their success against us. They used to be lovable losers, now they are a hated rival.
The Bad News Packers
The biggest concerns on the initial injury list for Green Bay have to be Aaron Banks and Javon Hargrave, for very different reasons.
The concern with Hargrave is twofold. First, the defensive line is already thin, and while the Packers got good news on another player there, Hargrave was brought in as much needed depth. He’s also coming off a down season and is 33 years old. The last thing you want with an older player is to already start off with an injury, coming to a new team, where he plays a position of real importance.
Uh oh....
#Bears QB Caleb Williams says he lost 10–15 pounds this offseason with better eating and sleeping habits.

Dayum....Stewart can't catch a break. He missed a bunch of training camp last year due to the hold out that, from my understanding anyway, was largely the fault of the front office, then he misses most of last year with two injuries. Now this. Brutal.

Yes it can. At this rate, it may not be a terrible idea to put some lamb's blood over the door at TCOPC.
