Absolutely. Even after finding out he was a complete shitbag. 09 was right up there with 75 and 98.

I'm getting old, forgot about that and it deserves remembering.

I didnt realize how vested I became during that 09 season, till it ended.

Maybe as deflating as 75. When we beat SF on that last throw I really started to believe.

Yuppers, they won their 1st two road games (at CLE and Det).

Favre to Lewis was the home opener and it will live in the top 10 of Vikings lore forever. Maybe top 5 or 3?

I would not have done it the first time or any other time again! My least two favorite years as a Viking fan by far, worst than the 3-13 season. The sight of him in purple made me want to puke, plus having to have him hold us hostage for two seasons why he waited for training camp to finish.......I mean make up his mind.

While I was crushed when we lost the championship game, I can honestly say now that I am glad that our first Super Bowl win was not with him and that we do not have to watch highlights of him raising the Super Bowl trophy in purple.

Burt’s a turd but he could really sling it! Enjoyed that season ‘til the bitter end…🤷‍♂️
