All kidding aside, what this is mostly is what it always is when a team has a non playoff year like Minnesota did: out of sight and out of mind by much of the media the following year. This author hasn't a clue about the Vikings...or probably at least 10 other teams. Ranking rosters? lol, good luck with the amount of injuries teams have annually and then remembering which teams had the most which contributed to wins and losses. Its filler for the only real dog days of NFL news: end of June until teams get back to training camp at various points in July. That's honestly a VERY small window compared to other major sports. They'd kill to have the year round interest the NFL does.
