An interesting wrinkle in this QB situation for the Vikings is the addition of new GM Nolan Teasley. More specifically, what it means for Kyler Murray's future in Minnesota. They were both in the NFC West up until this offseason. Teasley, who is certainly familiar with Murray, likely has an opinion of Kyler as a player, and that could impact Kylers's status on the team. His history against Seattle is not pretty. He is 2-9 against the Seahawks. His statistical averages per game are 24/36 passing, 239 passing yards, 1.5 total TDs, 0.7 INTs, and 40 rushing yards against Seattle in his career. Maybe Teasley has seen things that he can improve on, but I suspect this does not bode well for Kylerās chances of getting a new contract beyond this season.
