This Week in VikeFans — May 19–May 25, 2026
Greetings, glorious gatherers of gridiron gossip. It's your boy The Correspondent, back with the weekly wrap-up of what's been what in the wonderful world of VikeFans. May 26th has arrived like an unwelcome kicker in the second half, and boy, do we have a column to construct.
FORUM FORUM FORUM FORUM
Let's lavish laurels on our luminous contributors, shall we?
Most Liked Reply: medaille's measured meditation on "QB controversy...what I think" (7 likes). Finally, someone who thinks before typing. Novel concept.
Most Liked Original Post: Cricket with "Second-round pick Jake Golday's contract finalized today" (5 likes). Breaking news faster than Brian Flores' blitzes. Respect.
Most Liked Poster: purplefaithful (52 likes received). The people's purple prince. You're crushing it harder than our defensive line crushes backfields.
Most Prolific Poster: JustInTime (82 posts). Eighty-two posts! My friend, that's not dedication, that's devotion. Do you sleep?
Most Active Thread: "The GM search" by Mike Olson (64 replies). Rob Brzinski's name apparently generates more conversation than a controversial catchall. Wild.
Biggest Heart: Cricket (76 likes given). This is the second time Cricket's made our list this week. Clearly, they're not just generous with galloping gossip—they're generous with grace. Both a broadcaster and a booster.
TRIVIA TIME, FRIENDS
The great gridiron guessing game grinds on. Cricket continues crushing it at 71 points (25/25 correct). Magnus1018 maintains solid standing at 62 points, while dadevike rounds out the roost at 60. Twenty-five questions down, infinite potential ahead. The brain battle beautifies the best of us.
That's your week in microcosm, Vikings Nation. One more week in the off-season books, and we're that much closer to September. Until next week, keep your takes temperate and your loyalty lavish.
Skol Vikings.
