Remaining Roster Concern Spot
To me it’s Edge 3. Not exactly robust after Gink and Turner. I’m not sure he’s a fit for BFlo’s D, but maybe it’s time to kick the tires on Clowney. Extremely productive last year for Dallas. Might get him for a reduced contract like Jennings just landed.
I’m not too concerned about C. TE will be an issue next year. A vet iDL would probably be next on my list.

Yeah, agree....especially about a vet iDL, the team needs it. Banks is going to be a slow entry into the rotation as he'll be starting to practice in late July, will need time to get into football shape. Time to learn. I don't see him being much of a factor until October. I think the team will have to use Eric Johnson II a little more and early in the rotation. Edge 3 for sure.
Batty and Richter are our only real depth, so that could be improved. They could also use Golday in that role, but I'm not sure it's a good idea to have him learn two positions his rookie season. We just need a Pat Jones type for OLB3. Clowney's interesting. Looks like he played in Dallas last year for $3.5M. That works.

My biggest concern at the position is Turner, can he step up and be an impact player. He has had some flashes, but he has also been dominated by bigger OL, because he just doesn't seem to have the strength and power to overpower lineman, he needs to depend on his speed.
I think Batter, Richter as well as Chambliss provide decent depth if your top 2 are solid, but I think we may need someone who is more starter material. I do think they see Golday as a Van Ginkel type player and expect to see him on the edge often.
I think Clowney is a great idea...
When USB first opened we played the Texans and I got a field pass for that game.
Clowney was a Texan back then and I got to be pretty close on the field to those guys. Ive never seen someone with the proportion of length of arms/legs vs width b4.
It's like someone built and Edge to order from scratch.
