Caleb Banks ...the Vikings next goal line Refrigerator?
I did not realize Banks' athleticism...in high school.
Banks was an athletic marvel in high school and at Florida. He started out at wide receiver, then quarterback, then tight end, all before playing defensive tackle.
Apparently, last night, Pete Bersich asked KOC if Big Banks would play in Goal Line offensive plays. KOC tried to be cagey, but acknowledged that Banks' prior experience with the ball and his athleticism opens up some potential new wrinkles.
I think the '86 Bears only used the Fridge to carry the ball across the goal line once, and that was in the Super Bowl.
This could be an interesting wrinkle.

Yeah, he's no fatty. Sure, he's 330 lbs, but at 6 ft 6, he's almost svelte.

Fwiw your point that banks followed the Kevin Williams position path was spot on. I was unaware of banks history
Like banks Williams was a freak athlete that moved positions because his body kept growing larger.
