oh cricket it isn't just total number of posts but total number of posts in the last 24 hours. We don't want it to be hot forever just because of how many posts it has. If it was like 100 posts in it from like 2 weeks ago and someone found it and put another post in it, it isn't really a hot thread anymore. We can tune it though to be X posts in X hours

I haven't been on the desktop today so don't know if it has them top and bottom. On mobile I have buttons for previous and next at the top and bottom.

I also noticed I have to login every time. Is there a keep me logged in setting somewhere?

Is that previous next page buttons for multi page threads? If so the desktop has that plus actual page numbers.

On the login every time thing, I haven't noticed that myself. Can you explain it some more?

It just seems to periodically log me out. I'll try to watch for a pattern of some sort.
