You in or out on KOC/Vikings coming up big in 2026?

The Vikings have the sixth best win percentage in the NFL (.632) since Kevin O’Connell took over the team in 2022 per

I'm in as well. Self admitted big fan of KOC, I think he finds a way to win some games with that QB room. At this stage of my fandom, I must see it first of course, but I have optimism. Hopefully the team can break into the territory of playoffs wins and beyond. Staying relatively healthy would be a nice place to start. Figure out the center position, hopefully they snag a draft pick there and let him compete with Brandel....would be nice to have someone there long-term with the rest of the line.
The Lions the last 2 seasons are a reality check on why I can never be all in on a team.
I actually have some empathy for that fan base lol!
Well they choked away 2 amazing seasons and shit their diapers late in the playoffs both years. They were ripe for a letdown season and it happened last year.

I'm out on O'Connell. Of course, I always hope for the best, but to me there were numerous problems that were revealed last season and the whole Kyler Murray signing reeks of desperation and hoping the little fella can run around and win O'Connell enough games to save his job because in no way, shape, or form is Murray a scheme fit in the O'Connell chuck and duck. I am also convinced the chuck and duck isn't condusive to winning in the postseason unless O'Connell makes substantial philosophical changes with the run game and how he approaches the run game as a play caller. Judging by his postseason presser, he has no intention of that happening. I think we are back in that 8 to 9 win range in a very tough division with the draft still pending.

I'll be shocked with all our other needs if they go WRer in round 1. The game is still played with just 1 football, correct? I think I'd be pretty upset about it and I don't get like that at all over draft picks. I mean, we got fans heavily concerned that Jefferson only had 2 TDs last year and the Vikings take a WRer in round 1 after paying Addison his 5th year option? I couldn't envision something dumber than taking a WRer in round 1.
And to further illustrate my point on OConnell, a great point was brought up on Purple Daily yesterday. If OConnell was going to be more committed to big package/multi TE formations in order to balance the offense and establish a more consistent running game....why haven't we replaced CJ Ham yet or only have two TE's on our roster currently? The answer to that is (and this was indicated by him in his season ending presser) he wants to get back to running 3-wide and hitting big chunk plays in the passing game. He hasn't learned and is going to continue , and because of that, it's much more likely to me that our pick at #18 is a receiver.
