Speaking of QB Rooms....
Per Shefter:
Z. Wilson to Saints
J. Flacco to Bengals

Joe Flacco is very happy to be in Cincinnati, but wants everyone to know this isn't the end for him.

Hurry-up Vikings, we ain't getting any younger!
I thought Zach Wilson was enjoying life out of football.
Joe Flacco still has the swagger though. He even made a comment about how teams needing a backup are going to regret not signing him.
Attaboy Joe...I like your enthusiasm, you old fart!

I wonder if NO is going to trade Rattler. He didn't look too bad when he was starting but was not picked by his current coach and we know how that usually works.
More importantly, Shough was picked higher and played better. But NO is in the enviable position of having 2 dirt cheap QBs who can come in and play. If they trade Rattler he won't bring much because of his original draft slot, and then they'll have to pay more for a competent backup to replace the guy they just traded.

then why bring in Zach WILSON?
If Flacco winds up on the Steelers at some point, he'll have been on every team in that division. Drafted in 2008-- talk about staying power.

He’s a low cost, camp body to take a flyer on. If he ends up getting cut before the season, they shrug their shoulders and move on. If, for once, something clicks and he improves, well now they have some options.
