Yeah, its going to be another way to skin the cat. And different kinds of QBs are successful in the NFL with a good to very good surround system. Under KM, my hope is no lead is safe for the opponent. Pulling victory from the jaws of defeat situationally. Providing uncomfortable scenarios for your opponent. Guys will get open in KOC's offense consistently.
Kyler Murray left the field tied or with the lead in 62 out of 87 starts. That's 71%, which is the same percentage as Patrick Mahomes. If he can just match that in Minnesota, we're going to win a lot of games. But he'll likely do much better.

Lol Maroon you are the king of random statistics. What was his win percentage when he took a dump an hour or less before game time?

He's making a case. And his dump ratio to gametime proximity leads to an impressive 78% win ratio.

I agree this is such a different tale than Darnold's, it shouldn't even be discussed in that context.

It's not mine. It's a stat making the rounds in the media. And for those who might struggle to know what it means, it's a stat that speaks to the quality of his defense in Arizona.

Vikings legend @criscarter80 had a pretty blunt reaction to the Kyler Murray signing on the @FullyLoaded_Pod 😅 pic.twitter.com/cUCwoXvnLj

CC is s right...The Vikings got better with KM.
All bets off for 27, but JJ will most likely get some chances to start this year.
I hope he makes the most of those opportunities!

I don't understand how this maths out.
I go to Profootball Reference, it says his record is 38-48-1.
So half his losses (26ish out of 48) were them winning, but the defense lost the game on the last drive?
Am I missing something here?
Everyone got a take....

Dunno. But here's where it came from...

I have it on good authority that 47.6% of all statistics are made up on the spot!

Good discussion about Murray starting around the 9 minute mark. Also some JJM talk after that.
A lot of good stuff in here.

Wow, just from the games I watched him play in over the years the trend was the defense did let him down more often than not but that statistic is eye opening.

This was a VERY GOOD listen!
I respect Brooks and thought he had lots of great insight into both Murray and JJM....The JJM talk starts in earnest about the 27 minute mark...
Lots to get excited about re: Murray if he can stay healthy, the fit is better in MN than most are thinking.
His take on JJM was respectful and poignant at the same time. Like I posted elsewhere, I am rooting for both of these guys. Choices for the franchise is the best thing for me the fan.
