Broncos trade for WRer Jaylen Waddle
@AdamSchefter
Broncos are trading for Miami WR Jaylen Waddle, per source.
Denver receives: Waddle and Dolphins’ 4th-round pick (11th in round) in this year’s draft.
Miami receives: Broncos’ 1st round pick (30th overall) along with their late 3rd and 4th round picks (30th in each round) in this year’s draft.

The full trade, per sources:
Broncos receive: WR Jaylen Waddle, fourth-round pick
Dolphins receive: 2026 first-round pick (No. 30), third- and fourth-round picks.
A lot to give up, but I think this is a good move for both teams. Denver's going for it and Miami is resetting.

WOAH.
Feel like Broncos gave up ALOT. Wonder what AJ Brown is worth now…Howie Roseman is loving this.

Breaking: The #Eagles are signing former #Chiefs WR Marquise “Hollywood” Brown to a 1-year, deal worth up to $6.5M, multiple sources tell me.
The explosive Brown had 49 catches for 587 yards and 5 TDs last
Waddle is way more productive than Addison. Waddle’s fourth best season is about the same as Addison’s best season. Waddles got 3 1000 yard seasons to Addisons 0, although Addison has shined more in the TD front. Can’t really argue that it was just due to JJ, because Waddle had Hill.
I’d imagine Addison would probably return an upper half of a second round pick or a lower second + a bonus pick.
You’re not really trading for Addison to be the guy. At most he’s probably a 1B guy.
Game per game, both Waddle and Addison are pretty close in production. Check the stats.
