The #Vikings are signing CB James Pierre, source confirms @CameronWolfe. Has been with the Steelers since 2020. Familiarity with Brian Flores. He's 29 years old, was highly effective last year in coverage.

Should also note: Crossover here with new Vikings DBs coach Gerald Alexander. So, really good intel for the Vikings. Depth with Byron Murphy Jr. and Isaiah Rodgers.

Apparently, he was popular....8 or 9 teams were interested.

That's really the deal as I see it as well. I think the biggest splash they were going to make was Etienne, but he wanted to go to Louisiana so there probably wasn't a real shot.

The only big splash IMO could be trading Greenard. Otherwise, its going to be a low-key FA period sans whomever the vet QB is KOC brings in. Now that I write that out, those two things will probably be a big deal, lol.
