2026 Free Agency and Draft: CB

I LOVE PONDS, he's a dawg if there ever was one...I wish we could add him and Sarratt both!

Signing James Pierre just made this less of an issue.  Stoked on that signing.  Kids got skills.

I think this CB class is really deep. There should be good corners available well into the fourth round. I had us taking a CB early, but with the Pierre signing, I think we can wait on a CB.

Now I am thinking DT, S, RB, and C. I am very surprised we have shown no interest in the FA safeties. Some good ones have signed really cheap deals. We may regret that soon.

I’m trying really hard to like Ponds. The size doesn’t bother me as much as the T-Rex arms. I’m just not sure at this level he’s going to have the same success. But man, the tape is really good.

How high would we be talking about D'Angelo Ponds going if he were 2 inches taller? Top 20 I'd guess.

Ponds can play press, he also can tear it up on Special Teams too. Dangerous with the ball in his hands if he gets the chance to. An ace at reading the QB on where he is going to go with the football. Dude is freaking tiny though. Ponds I feel would fit in just fine on this defense. Just super small.

Brandon Cisse is the CB I like outside of the first. He may even go at the end of the first. Plays press great. Surprised how well he manhandles the WR at the line. His movement and change of direction is damn near perfect. Not to mention, he can play the run just as well. At times he will miss his guy over pursuing it seems, however. Will have to shake the injury concern as well. I like Chris Johnson as well.

his tape is good (he doesn’t look slow when healthy), and Flores is reportedly a fan, but this has to be a cross-off in the top 20

Curious to know your thoughts on Ephesians Prysock. The way he moves with his size is impressive. Really good at the line against WRs. Has trouble at times correcting if he's beat. Just curious to know your thoughts since he is a player we can get in day 3 most likely. Especially if we trade for a player like Moore.

Haven’t really watched the corners much, but I like both of those Washington corners if they’re still on the board in the 4th. Maybe even late 3rd. Pete Carroll would draft long corners like this on day three and they’d play for 10 years. Flores keeps me guessing.

I appreciate your response. I agree, Flores keeps you guessing. He's truly a coach that runs a system and not individual talents.
