I’ve got to rewatch, but the Canadian goal looked to happen because a US player basically decided to just stand obliviously while the Canadian player charged for the puck. It wasn’t a good look. Perhaps she just didn’t see it but I was like what are you doing?

Great game! Thought they were all done with two minutes left, veteran play by Knight for the tying goal and the goal in OT was masterful, couldn't get enough of watching the replay.

Really good games yesterday, caught the end of the Canada game and then watched the last period and overtime of USA's win.

USA Women play Canada early this afternoon, both teams extremely talented and its a big time rivalry. Give it a watch if you can, it should be fun. Its on USA Network.

I watched the women win in OT while I ate lunch.  Sorry, but that was some of the worst hockey I have witnessed. Men's junior hockey league is much more entertaining and much better hockey.

Glad they won, happy for them.  Just not going to say it was good hockey.

Can't wait to watch this! Kid that had graduated a year before me from my high school back in Rochester MN was on the winning team back in 1980 and I was watching with all my buddies from my college dorm in Moorhead when we won. Looking forward to the game tomorrow but living in AZ means a 6 AM start..... Mimosa will wait until after a cup of coffee and a 2nd cup of coffee with Baileys! Maybe I can stomach a Mimosa by third period. lol! GO USA!

Born in 1961 - Still waiting for just one.... ;)

Heck yeah!  Women win Gold, now it's onto the men!

Screw mimosas, bring on the Micheladas and Baileys/Coffee (I'm with you Daniel)...ha!

Nothing will ever beat the 1980 Olympic Men's Hockey Gold, but this one would be sweet for sure.  I also have a lot of ties to that squad back in 1980 with some incredibly fond memories that I relive just watching Miracle and the new Netflix Miracle Boys of the 80's.

One of the best sports books I have ever read is The boys of winter. Great breakdown of the 1980 team.

Canada is getting away with some liberties on their line changes and hits.

Marchand jumped in so early he created a two on one opportunity. I’m not a huge hockey guy, but I still was like wtf.

Incredible win for USA. Jack Hughes is the epitome of how every American should respect the country they play for. I’m not a Devils fan but that dude is a hero in every way right now.

The whole Hughes family is pretty much hockey royalty, from mom and dad down...

The team photo with the Gaudreau girls was pretty soul crushing. Hopefully they'll relish it as adults and reminds them what their dad meant to the team.

I think it will mean the world to them someday.  It was just such a patriotic and good day for the country.
