Congrats to Sam Darnold
Yeah, we all gave up on him after those two blowout losses to end the season, but he didn't give up on himself.
We were fortunate to watch him all of last season. Not his fault we did not re-sign him.
I have no ill-will toward him. The NFL is a business, and management takes risks.
That's all water under the bridge.
Congratulations to a solid young man seeking redemption in the Super Bowl.
Yeah I've been rooting for him and will continue to, while also wishing it was us. Siri play That Ain't My Truck.
Good for him. I understand why he needed to move on. I don't think he would have been as successful here this year with all the issues with balance of play calling and OL. I ain't mad at him
You're only given a little spark of madness. You mustn't lose it. — Robin Williams
I wasn't rooting for Seattle last week, but I will be happy for Darnold when they win the SB.
Hurry-up Vikings, we ain't getting any younger!
F Darnold and the rest of the Seahawks. I don't really think Sammy has changed his stripes. He was awful against our D, sadly their D was better against our much worse offense.
I think Seattle has limited his deep drops, ran the ball well and had a much better plan to keep bad Sam disguised and hidden. KOC could learn a thing or two from their offense.
LOL!!! No odds are low when the Vikings are involved.

The #Vikings’ worst nightmare is now their reality, but just how UNLIKELY was it? 🤦♂️ pic.twitter.com/Epws9YxLiQ

To be fair, Dak Prescott, Jared Goff and Jayden Daniels were awful against our defense too. I am not one who believes that "bad Sam" is just waiting in the wings, but I do agree that KOC could learn something (for JJ) from how they limited Sam's exposure. Especially when you consider that the Vikings had a better YPC than the Seahawks and still ran the ball 100 less times than they did.

Tom Brady folded under pressure. QBs need a mostly clean pocket to thrive. Darnold has a bit more history of folding under pressure than other more established QBs. Just thinking that KOC is the one that has to grow, he has to learn to feel the game and call it accordingly.
I'm happy for Darnold. I was one that thought he would always fold in the big games and you could never win a title with him. He proved me and everybody else wrong. The biggest stat of them all for Darnold, zero interceptions this postseason. Seattle ran the football and didn't ask Darnold to throw it 40 times. OConnell would have had him chucking until his arm fell off
