The Dante Moore decision will be an interesting one. All reports are he planned to return next year to Oregon, but hard to turn down being a top 3 pick

I don’t really think we’re going to be drafting a OT high in the draft. I could see us taking a developmental guy that you hope eventually replaces O’Neill. I think KAM and KOC are going to be under more pressure to perform and will take guys that have more potential for making an immediate impact. We’re in year 2 of the building part of our rebuild, so we’re not really in need for more cap space. Can you imagine another two years of Dallas Turner-like grumblings where we spend a high draft pick on a guy who sits on the bench? People would be calling for Kwesi’s head.

Only spots that I could see us bring in a guy that has a distinct veteran in front of him would be TE and DT. Hockenson can’t play at his current contract level. I wouldn’t be surprised if we brought him back at a lower contract level and then also drafted a more athletic guy to round out the TE room. Same with DT. I imagine Hargrave is probably cut/traded. I wouldn’t be surprised to see us bring in a guy that has more beef/all-around ability. I still think a true NT on day 2 or 3 would be good for us to get some extra run defense on the field without having to go bigger at every spot.

I think a Big Fattie in the middle would help on Run D too...I dont expect us to take one though, not if BFlo stays.

Hurry-up Vikings, we ain't getting any younger!
