Bro show tomorrow!
Don’t know about yall, I’m gonna have fun watching the game tomorrow. Sure Brosmer laid an egg when the hype was highest, but what he did last week should have us all excited again. Why not? This is where we are and it ain’t changin fellas. Hope you all enjoy tomorrow as well.
**And if the Bro show does nothing for you, I did a 5 pick mock yesterday for shits and giggles and came out really happy with the possibilities

46.A'Mauri Washington, DT Oregon
80.Jake Golday, LB Cincinnati
97.Jadarian Price, RB Notre Dame

I am hopeful. Since the Seattle debacle, KOC has realized he has young QBs, lacks a stud LT and needs to adjust the offense accordingly. JJ has looked much better since and so did Brosmer last week.
Bad time for the last two games...Detroit and Green Bay are going to stack the line against our offense, forcing Bromer to beat them and with our running backs being pretty gimpy right now (Both Jones and Mason have sore ankles), Mason might not suit up. On a high note, with KOC probably calling a lot of passing plays, Jefferson has a good chance at another 1000-yard season.

Let me ask everyone here. How are we feeling if Jefferson suffers a major injury playing in these last two games? I would be pissed. Shelve the guy, let Felton get some run at receiver, and live to fight another day. Zero reason to risk the franchise player playing in meaningless, end of season games.

I agree with you on this but knowing KOC, he's been calling plays the last couple of games directly throwing to Jefferson to get his 1000 yards. I don't see KOC changing now.
ITs a priority for JJ to get 1k receiving...That has to be respected and weighed against injury. Might be some big $$ incentives at play too.
Hurry-up Vikings, we ain't getting any younger!

Downs will be long gone I am assuming by then. Great player however.

I thought so too...Top 10 guy for sure, maybe top 5
I suspect we'll be in that 11/12 spot when the dust settles on 2025.

Well this is when the "super idiot bro's" should step in and make that decision for him. These last two games are the equivalent of preseason games at this point and there is zero need to risk the franchise player in meaningless games. Dont give a shit about him getting to 1,000 yards. If he gets hurt and misses all or most of meet season, then ownership and the coaching staff should get punched right in the balls (if they have any).

I think he goes top 5 IMO
I'm not so sure. Safeties don't typically get drafted high and he's short. The measurables on him are going to weigh heavily

I believe it is important to Jefferson. Wasn't there a big drama event with the previous coach not getting him his yards? Jefferson is a competitor. You don't sit everyone and build good will for next year by sitting healthy people just short of milestones.

Thats fine, but the alternative possibility is what I laid out and the way this season has gone, I certainly wouldn't tempt fate in a meaningless game. Jefferson needs to see the big picture and while he may be a competitor and want to play, that decision should be taken out of his hands

You take that out of his hands you go from a guy that is a good supportive teammate, to a disgruntled employee in a flash. He's got fame, he's got money. He's got records, but he still wants to have a say in his life and imo its his decision. He's playing for pride and we dont want him to lose that.

So do we care about any of that stuff if he blows his knee out? I certainly don't. Everything at this point is building towards next year and Jefferson should understand his significance in that and put aside meaningless personal accomplishments in a meaningless season

Hes just been given a front row seat to how fragile their careers are, he loves the game, you cam see it in how he reacts to others success around him, its genuine, he's not doing it for some benchmark. He knows his time is limited and doesnt want to waste any time IMO, regardless of the risk.

Chiefs doing it right. Shut down Rashee Rice, Thornton, and both starting corners for the season. But boy, I sure hope Jefferson gets his 1,000 yards

Could be those guys aren't fully healthy, could be those guys dont want to play. And I too hope Jets gets his 1000 yards as that maybe means Brosmer has a future role with the team, and maybe we get to knock the lions and or packers out of the playoffs. Also maybe it means KOC figures out a way to scheme Jets open more for the young QBs to be able to take advantage of.

I suspect Jetta wants to play today ;)
With 27 yards, he will pass Vikings legend Randy Moss (8,375) for the most receiving yards in a player’s first six seasons in NFL history.
With 83 yards, Jefferson will join Moss and the Buccaneers’ Mike Evans as the only receivers with six straight 1,000-yard seasons to begin a career.
Tight end T.J. Hockenson and running back Jordan Mason — have been ruled out against Detroit because of injuries. They were among five players declared out on Dec. 24, including quarterback J.J. McCarthy (right hand), center Ryan Kelly (concussion) and tight end Gavin Bartholomew (back).
Quarterback Max Brosmer will have a patchwork offensive line in his second NFL start. Right tackle Brian O’Neill is listed as questionable because of a heel injury he played through last week. Offensive lineman Blake Brandel would replace O’Neill if needed. Center Michael Jurgens will start for Kelly, whose season is over after he was placed on injured reserve Dec. 24 due to his third concussion of the year.
Hockenson emerged from last week’s win at New York with a back injury that prevented him from practicing. This is Hockenson’s first missed game since he returned from his 2023 knee injury.
Hurry-up Vikings, we ain't getting any younger!
Im sure the NFL frowns sitting healthy stars on prime time games. Unless it's preseason and the still charge full ticket prices

I'm gonna try. Lots of family and food and fun around today so if the playoff-eliminated Vikings lay an egg, I should be fairly well insulated from the normal pain today.
Merry Christmas everybody. Skol!

I think the 27 is the point PF as you say much more than the 1k
