I'd give a game ball to "Will the thrill" and Wright.

Grade wise:
    kicking         A
    kick returns   F
    Defense stop run   F
    Defense pass def   D
Offense run      C when used in first half
    Offense pass     D
    Play calling        D

I don't think this loss had anything to do with the play calling and I think your passing grade is too high.

Offensive passing - D? You know there’s more letters in the grading system right?

87 yards and 2 picks.

This has to be using the curve... right?

Gotta give a tip of the hat to Wright,  that coffin corner kick was a thing of beauty,  a 2nd inside the 10 IIRC... career game for him.

Why isn't Chuck Foreman in the Hall of Fame?

Kudos to Will the Thrill and Wright, almost everyone else can fuck off

This team looked like shit. Agree kicking was the only bright spot. Pass game both offensively and defensively is horrendous. Run game wasn't horrible at least in the first half.

Offense still has no rhythm and I think teams have figured out Flores' defense.

Oh well, maybe next year.

I give myself an F for actually wasting a beautiful 74 degree day watching this game. I did watch it on tv outside but could have
appreciated the day so much more. 3 hour game with poor play from all 3 phases. Awful ST play, Run "D" making Wilson look all pro,
Darrisaw getting abused by Parsons ( side note: is Darrisaw pulling a Rhodes and being "injured" after getting beat? ) and again abandoning
the run game......then sitting through an hour of actual football with 2 hours of the same commercials over and over. Not wasting my time
next week and just going to enjoy Sunday with my family. Taking a break from the over commercialized NFL and poor product called the Vikings.
Not worth my time. PS Just a rant and nobody cares but feels good to type that.

Yup.  I turned it off yesterday.  Been a long while since I did that.

As to the scores, I think the D has been playing well.  With the exception of getting turnovers, they are keeping the other team from scoring TDs, keeping the team in the game with little to no help from the offense or ST.

It isn't worth our time, that's where I'm at. Watched the game outside as well, beautiful 82 degree day with super light humidity. Ruined by watching that shit show of a game. The commercials are BRUTAL to sit through, its why I love the Redzone Channel so much normally. As I mentioned in another thread, I'm also taking a break from it.

Sometimes it's worth recording the game and just blow through the obnoxious commercials!
It's supposed in the mid 70's again here on Sunday albeit it it gets dark early. I'll either just
take the family out to dinner and record it.

I agree overall the D is playing relatively well.  Unfortunately the offense ( or lack thereof ) puts them back on the field after they're
gassed.

Packers had a 15 minute advantage in time of possession yesterday and ran 21 more plays than the Vikings did. The offense is just completely out of whack in all facets, and it's not all McCarthy (most, but not all). Dropped passes, penalties, constant injuries, the playcalling has been abysmal. I think we are last in converting 3rd downs. With all the talent we have on offense, we should still be able to generate something in the way of a competent offense, and it's just one thing after another

Or the special teams giving the ball back on the 2 after a huge stop to begin the 2nd half.
