But, but...the media keeps telling all of us that OConnell is this great offensive guru so how can this be? The reality is his playcalling has been predictable, it's takes too long to get the plays into the quarterback, it's an undisciplined unit that can't stop committing penalties, and they've looked generally sloppy on offense all year long no matter who the quarterback has been. It's year 4 and I'm still not sold on KOC. With that said, if he had a competant GM providing him with talent maybe things would be different?

And included is the collapse of the defense.
Which is bound to happen when the offense generates only 4 first downs in the first half.
3 and half full seasons into it, and just once, after a game, I'd like to come in here and find a thread saying "KO runs the ball too much".....
maybe someday?
Current EPA tiers paint an interesting picture, which is somewhat nauseating for the purple who find themselves in the company of Cleveland, Miami, and the Jets among others.
Upper right is good, lower left is bad, diagonal lines roughly divide tiers, red lines are the median. If Dallas had any defense at all they might contend. We still have a slightly better than average defense but our offense has seriously gone in the tank, thanks mainly to rough qb play and oline inconsistency/injuries.

The underutilization of Jefferson has been maddening to behold. There are reasons to believe things can change and this team can come together. I would start with getting 18 more involved.
