Is there a separate portion of player procurement outside of Kwesi’s scope? He doesn’t count because his name didn’t get written on a draft card?

People can think differently but I think UDFA is essentially a luck lottery. You pull anything out of that hat its more luck than skill. If it were skill, you'd have drafted them over some of the busts you did draft.

Best D lineman on the team. He looks like the guy they spent $60 million on last March.

Somehow, I missed Johnathan Allen's name on that list...didn't I?

When is his contract up?
He's one of the great few positives we have seen on the team this year.

Redmond = Tom Johnson He's done it!!!

One of the lone positives from last night was the play of Jalen Redmond. PFF credited him with 9 pressures, which ties Tom Johnson for the single-game record for a Vikings defensive tackle in the PFF era (since 2006).

I think UDFA's are motivated to come to Minnesota because they know with all the drafted guys going bust that sooner or later that they have a decent chance to play.  

You go to a team that drafts well and you're just a practice squad guy or a cut.  Here, you can actually get on the playing field.

I think routinely paying more $$$ might move the needle too…
