Brandel could move to Center
Could Blake Brandel find a home at center after spending his NFL career at guard and tackle? Notable that Vikings OC Wes Phillips said: "The way Blake handled this game, I think we might be looking at a situation where this could be his best position of all five across the line."

His Second start ever as a center....ever....in his life.... Wentz sucked ass today, one play is no excuse for the way he played.
Well...why are we having to force the issue? The answer is because our GM signed a veteran with prior concussion issues who is now shockingly having concussion issues, and the reason he signed him is because they didn't trust his draft pick Jurgens to handle the job. So when you don't have options you are forced to do stupid things like play Brandel at center, who like you said...second start at center...ever...in his life and it cost us today. Not the sole reason we lost, but he was involved in a series of costly plays today.

Brandel is a long way down on why we lost today.

I'll disagree. If you take away the pressure he gave up that resulted in the Wentz INT for a touchdown...it's a different game considering the final point differential.
You can hate on Wentz, but he threw for over 300 yards today, had some great scrambles to extend drives, and we've see much worse QB performances in Minnesota.

Bradbury was let go due to lousy play but now plays well in New England. Ingram sucked but now is highly rated by PFF at Houston. See a pattern?

2 plays dont make a game, Wentz missed a lot of open plays. Our clock management was total shit and play calling only marginally better. Brandel was the least of our issues.

This is the NFL and 2 plays can absolutely make a game. Mistakes by Brandel cost us two touchdowns and having to settle for a long field goal on the first drive after he launched the snap over Wentz's head. If you want to argue the holding penalty shouldn't have been holding, fine, but his other mistakes cost us points in a 6 point loss. He wasn't pulled for Jurgens in the second half because he was playing great football today. There's enough blame to go around, but Brandel certainly played his part

There was a hold, but it was on the DL, not Brandel, one of worst calls you will ever see. Refs were so one sided all game.

You assume that snap cost 6 points, but they still got a FG IIRC, based on the rest of the day I think it likely was a wash as they weren't making TDs yesterday.
