Hall of Fame linebacker Jack Lambert once said QBs should wear skirts because of how ridiculous the rules had become about protecting them. He said this in the 70s. He wouldn't recognize the game today.

Wow not sure what more the defender could have done not to make it roughing the passer, he brought him down in the least physical way and totally avoided coming down the QB and putting on body weight on him.

As one responder said "He did everything but tuck him in and sing him a bedtime story." lol. He did make contact with Dart's helmet, but he did it the damn nicest way possible by going facemask first.
