Browns game
Are my eyes deceiving me, or has KOC dialed up a game plan based on interior runs and quick hitters?

I didn't know that Ackers is our 3rd string emergency quarterback...1 attempted, 1 completion for 32 yards and a touchdown.
Jordan Addison is heading onto the field. So this was a first-quarter benching, due to what the Vikings say was a coach's decision.

What was the reason for his first quarter benching? Does anyone know?

My guess would be a completely stupid unforced error that was entirely avoidable and self-induced.
KOC actually came up with a good plan to use quick game for a change and we were moving the ball on a very stout Browns D. But he did what I figured he'd do - abandon it before we were halfway through the 2nd quarter, having Wentz stand there looking downfield which naturally resulted in Wentz getting injured, another thing I figured would happen. The Coach of the Year really doesn't have it, strategically.

Way overrated on this board. He’s such a head case I can’t get behind him. Sign Nailor to a reasonable extension and try to get a pick for Addison.

They should trade him before the deadline and get something for him. He’s been a knucklehead since the Vikings drafted him.
Flores sucks!
So many think he’s a genius, but how do you let a team run down the field on you? He’s better than Donatell, but that’s it. I have zero confidence in him. Injuries or not, you don’t let a team with a rookie qb drive the field running the ball.

By playing undrafted midgets in at your interior LB positions.

Nice last drive, but I can't wait to get Wentz's butt back on the bench.
I'm not so sure he doesn't give us the best chance to win moving forward. Just from an experience standpoint and he's only been in this offense for what, month and a half? How much better is Wentz continuing to get reps in the offense and getting key players back from injury? I'd kind of like to see it. He certainly throws a pretty football
This doesn't feel that much like a win to me. Just surviving out there. Still glad to get the win.
KOC definitely pulled his head out of his ass gameplan-wise with many quick hitters. Hopefully, we can keep that in our playbook as time goes on.
I'll be glad to get back on the JJM train. Wentz drives me nuts with all those missed opportunities, so I'd at least like to see a young guy developing.

Regular season wins don't matter. What matters is finding a QB that can win a SB. Wentz isn't that guy. We all know that.

Probably, but it's possible he gives us the best chance for THIS season. It's not like he is devoid of talent. He was the #1 overall pick for a reason and can play at an MVP level. The biggest difference between Wentz and McCarthy is just the level of experience. That can't be undervalued
A win is a win is a win...
3/2 and into a bye? I'll take it with the shitshow that has been this season so far.
IMO you gotta go with JJM when he's healthy enough to play...#1 prio for the org this year is to determine if they can count on him - or not.
Chances are, it'll take more than this year to reach any definitive conclusions. Especially if the injury hits keep coming like they have.
Hurry-up Vikings, we ain't getting any younger!

He has the "C" on his jersey. He needs to be out there.
Reportedly no injury to Darrisaw. Was pulled ad part of a "pitch count" as he returns from the knee injury
Rumor is Addison took an unauthorized leave of absence and that was why he was benched in the first quarter. Decided to give himself the self guided tour of London was what I heard this morning.
Why isn't Chuck Foreman in the Hall of Fame?

Hurry-up Vikings, we ain't getting any younger!
