Any word on Cashman hammy yet?
Thats a big one and my heart fell when I saw him gimp off the field like that.
Edit: MRI today, we should know more by end of day.
Hurry-up Vikings, we ain't getting any younger!

Didn't look good. I'd be surprised if he plays the next couple of weeks. But hey, Eric Wilson looked great in relief. Very underrated signing by the Vikings.

Eh, it didn't look too bad IMO. He was walking around the sidelines just fine after it.
Maybe, but to me it looked like more than just tightness, which as we know, even that can keep a player out for a bit. I don't think it was necessarily a tear, but I think it was a pull. You could see exactly when it happened and the grimace on his face.

he was ruled out to fast to it simply be tightness IMO, I didnt see anybody working on it, or him on a bike trying to get it loose and keep it warm like you would see if he was just tight. I am suspecting he is out for an extended stretch.
Why isn't Chuck Foreman in the Hall of Fame?

You can walk pretty normally with a bad hamstring. Doing much more could take a few months.

Maybe it is the optimist in me, but I was thinking cramps when it happened. Not playing much in preseason, then being on the field most of the game and trying to catch a speedy QB.
#Vikings linebacker Blake Cashman is scheduled for a MRI on his hamstring today, but the initial expectation is that he’ll miss several weeks.

Cashman pulled up after chasing Caleb Williams on a 13-yard scramble late in the third quarter, and did not return.

Okuda got a concussion at the very end of the game. So there goes our entire CB depth.

No problem, we had 4 corners on the roster...
Unless there is someone with a pulse on the practice squad?
Doh!

The last I heard was that Okudah was still in evaluation for a concussion (last play of the game) and traveled home with the team. I have not seen a concussion confirmed as of yet or that he's been placed in protocol.
EAGAN, Minn. — Minnesota Vikings linebacker Blake Cashman will miss some time after leaving Monday night's game against the Chicago Bears with a hamstring injury.
Vikings coach Kevin O'Connell said Wednesday that Cashman and running back Ty Chandler are both expected to be out for a period of time, but added that he expects them both to return.
"I don't have a real timetable as far as what that looks like from a standpoint of the next few weeks," O'Connell said.
O'Connell also provided an update on cornerback Jeff Okudah and edge rusher Andrew Van Ginkel, who both left Monday's game with head injuries, saying both have been placed into the concussion protocol.
"They're both doing well but they are indeed in the protocol and they will work their way through that here over the next few days, and we'll see where they're at for the football game," O'Connell said.
The injuries came in a game where left tackle Christian Darrisaw and safety Harrison Smith both sat out as Darrisaw continues to work his way back from a season-ending knee injury and Smith works his way through a personal health matter. O'Connell said they will both continue to ramp up their work throughout the week, but their status for Sunday night against the Atlanta Falcons is still unknown.

LB Blake Cashman (hamstring) and RB Ty Chandler (knee) will miss a few weeks, per Kevin O'Connell.
LB Andrew Van Ginkel and CB Jeff Okudah are in the concussion protocol.
S Harrison Smith/LT Christian Darrisaw progressing.

More than anything, I just want to get Darrisaw back. Check out the blocking on this out to Jefferson. Every one of our linemen is stonewalling his guy, except Skule. Put Darrisaw there and it changes a lot.
A lot to like about this play when things started getting going for the Vikings

• Ryan Kelly 💪
• Strong pass protection from Donovan Jackson and Brian O’Neill
• Great throw by J.J. McCarthy with a defender closing
• Sideline catch by Justin Jefferson pic.twitter.com/XolroAVkWT

Oh it will fall off, how much?
Maybe less than last year if front 7 can get home quicker. Hopefully this is where Hargrave and Allen make their $$.

Last year that meant Asamoah was the starter. This year we have Wilson. I feel much better with Wilson that Asamoah. Hopefully we can ride it out until Cash returns.

It fell off because Cashman could cover and his replacements mostly cannot, including Wilson. Flores is going to have bring a ton of pressure or the Falcons might score at will on our weak back end.
