Well....Arch did not look good. Maybe 2 good throws. Texas seems to have a way of coming up short in big games. Mostly a sloppy game, fairly boring.

Keep an eye on Michigan true Freshman QB Bryce Underwood, he's going to be special.

I think you're seeing some of the top teams that have lost, like Alabama and Clemson, ok with it because its all about making the playoffs. Klubnik said as much. An early loss isn't the death knell it used to be so maybe the urgency isn't there like it should be.

And Coach < Prime: 13-13 record at Colorado and 0-1 in Bowl games and they want to put a statue of him in Boulder, lol. Who he's dating is more interesting that his coaching career.

Nick Saban said this yesterday and I totally agree: 'If you don't pay the right guys today, you're going to be shit out of luck'. This was in reference to Alabama shitting the bed against Florida State. And he's right. Grit, determination and strong wills still win the day, but you have to find the talented kids that still have that fire after getting the bag. Lots of sloppy play this weekend, even by the winning teams. That's going to change moving forward. Probably the same for opening NFL weekend.

Notre Dame should be in the playoffs and that's what matters. You shouldn't be punished so severely for losing one game and if you're a great team, you will rise and get another chance as it should be. I think my Wolverines will be just on the outside looking in and miss the playoffs but next year they should make it.
