3 weeks before Bears on MNF. Should be good to go barring any major setbacks.

Unless he has a set back—and I don't think the Vikings will let him—it sounds like Jefferson should be good for the opener. Also, KOC's presser earlier today made it sound like Nailor has a chance to be available as well. KOC called him "week to week" with three weeks to go, so we'll see.

They do seem to be oddly cryptic about it though. Reporter asked if surgery was a possibility, KOC didn't really answer that, which seems to suggest they don't precisely know the extent of the injury or the best course of action yet. Either that, or they're exploring the idea of using him as a decoy in Chicago if his hand isn't quite ready to receive 61 MPH rockets from JJ.

I think KOC is learning a bit of coach speak.

He declined to reveal the nature of Moore's knee injury.  He doesn't have to reveal injuries in the preseason.  So he isn't revealing more than enough to satisfy the local press.

JJ could sit out until the opener and be fine, Nailor needs work, don't see him being able to miss much more time and then being effective. With the injuries and inconsistencies, he does not seem like someone they can depend on, which is why I am sure they drafted Felton, who looks like he has the potential to fill that #3 role. He seems like he plays bigger than he is, runs crisps routes and has good hands. I would be surprised if they do not pick someone else up soon.

My concern with Nailor and a hand injury is that he needs to demonstrate that he can catch the ball with a hurt hand...given his propensity for dropped balls last season.
I am thinking I am a bit more comfortable with Felton than Nailor (I saw Felton as his replacement anyway, when he was drafted).  At this point, seeing Felton's stats in pre-season, I'm not sure I still feel that way.

I think JJetta back to practice is more about JJM developing rhythm with him than it is to get JJetta more practice time.
And also, get that hammy well loosened up before gametime.

Exactly.  JJ and JJM need to build that chemistry that has been evident between JJM and Addison.  And get him to loosen up as you mention.

As with Nailor and Felton, I think Lucky or J Jones is more likely to be filling Nailor's spot.  I think Felton needs some seasoning.
